For the Birds

“For the Birds” can be seen as a homage to John Cages’ aleatoric work. Basically it is an experimental test arrangement denoted to study randomness, it’s generative force and the correlation between noise and sound.
Technically the sound is generated as follows: Two opposing hair-dryers set a ball inside a glass cube in motion. Light-sensors underneath the glass, influenced by the moving ball, trigger twelve chromatic tones on a circuit bended keyboard.
